Starting with issue 1 - May 1954
 
After the break during WW11 and the austere period afterwards when petrol was rationed and most cars manufactured were mostly
exported to help bring the much needed revenue back into the economy, Practical Motorist restarted in May 1954 priced 1 shilling (5p decimal) and edited by F J Camm
as a monthly magazine with wonderful artwork on the front covers.
 
 
       
 
Some years an encyclopedia was also printed, shown here with and without dust jacket.

Below - a book of road tests of Morris cars which originally appeared in the pre-war issues of Practical Motorists between 1934-1940, This may be the 1st edition as the 3rd edition was printed in 1983.
