Practical Motorist 1954

Starting with issue 1 - May 1954
After the break during WWII and the austere period afterwards when petrol was rationed and most cars manufactured were mostly
exported to help bring the much needed revenue back into the economy, Practical Motorist restarted in May 1954 priced 1 shilling (5p decimal) and edited by F J Camm
as a monthly magazine with wonderful artwork on the front covers.
Some years an encyclopedia was also printed, shown here is from 1952 (when PM was not printed) with and without dust jacket.
The book of maps below may be from 1954, an undated map.
